Paweł Sala (1958) is a screenwriter and director. He pursued cultural studies at universities in Poznan and Lodz, and in directing from the Silesian University in Katowice. He then worked at several TV and radio stations and made TV shows and radio plays and adaptations. He's also directed documentary films with socio-cultural themes. He made his feature film debut with the drama Mother Theresa of Cats (Matka Teresa od kotów, 2010). He's collaborated as a playwright with a number of Polish theaters.
