Émi Chicoine

Right from the start Emi Chicoine won over the hearts of Quebeckers with her unforgettable performance as Marilou in the TV series Plan B II. Critics were no less impressed, praising the young actress’s great natural talent. Since early childhood Emi has been accustomed to the camera’s gaze and working on set. Her passion, instinct, insight and intuition have given her a natural ease on set. And her ability to adapt to different genres, acting styles and types of productions is exceptional.

Emi made her film debut in André Forcier’s Embrasse-moi comme tu m’aimes in 2015. She then appeared in Alexis Durand-Brault’s C’est le cœur qui meurt en dernier in 2016. She has also acted in a number of short films, including La traduction by Carla Turcotte and Bowling Métropolitain directed by Louka Hogue in 2019. The latter was in official selection and a semi-finalist at the DMOFF (Direct Monthly Online Film Festival). The young actress can also be seen in the web series OFF, presented on Télé-Québec. In 2019, Emi was cast in the series Effet secondaire produced by Zone3 and presented on Radio-Canada, and, in 2020, in L’Œil du Cyclone and Six degrés.
