Starting as a young child, Kelly made a name for herself performing at a number of singing competitions with a song written especially for her, Raconte-moi encore. A native of the Eastern Townships in Québec, she was also a member of the Petits chanteurs de Trois-Rivières choir. In 2013 her career as an actress took off when she was chosen for the lead in a Leucan advertising campaign. In 2016 she was given her first lead role on television as Claudie in the series L’Échappée. Kelly was also cast for the short Le dernier jour (2018). In 2019 she was chosen as a lead in the feature Vacarme directed by Neegan Trudel, earning her glowing reviews for her acting.

In 2020 she was a hit with audiences and critics in Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette’s feature Goddess of the Fireflies, adapted from the play by Geneviève Pettersen. The film had its world premiere at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival in February 2020, and Kelly went on to win the 2021 Iris film prize for Revelation of the Year at the Québec Cinema Gala. Her performance also earned her the prize for Best Actress at the Dieppe Canadian Film Festival. Kelly was also nominated for Best Female Supporting Role, Youth Category, at the Gémeaux Awards for her performance in the series Clash (2021). Kelly spent the end of 2021 on the set of Geneviève Albert’s feature film début, Noémie dit oui.
