Zach Galifianakis

After failing his last college course by one point at North Carolina State University, Zach Galifianakis moved to New York City. Zach got his start performing his brand of humor in the back of a hamburger joint in Times Square, graduating to doing stand-up at night in clubs and coffee houses in the city. While working as a bus boy, he got his first acting job on a sitcom called BOSTON COMMON for NBC. An eclectic career has followed. He has been seen as a guest and performing on a number of late night talk shows including “Letterman,” “Conan” and “Jimmy Kimmel.”

Zach has also completed his pilot for Comedy Central entitled SPEED FREAKS. He was a series regular playing “Davis” on TRU CALLING for Fox. Zach hosted his own critically acclaimed talk show for VH1 entitled LATE WORLD WITH ZACH, as well as writing and starring in DOG BITES MAN for Comedy Central. He has appeared in numerous other shows including THE SARAH SILVERMAN SHOW and had recurred on RENO 911.

When not filming, Zach travels the country doing stand up in rock clubs, coffee houses and universities. He lives in Venice Beach, California and also spends part of his time on his farm in the mountains of North Carolina.
