Kawthar Al Haddad

Born in 1972, in Wadi Khaled, Tripoli, Lebanon, she moved with her parents and six siblings to Kuwait where her father died in 1975. The family returned to Beirut in 1990 during the invasion of Kuwait. Kawthar holds a 2nd grade Lebanese ID and is treated as a 2nd grade citizen. Her real passion was to study and become a doctor.
