Director, writer and actress, Cris Gris holds an MFA in Filmmaking from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. She has starred in many shorts, including The White Roses (2014) which premiered at the Berlinale, and went on to have her first leading role in the feature independent drama Fish Bones (2018) which premiered at Slamdance. Gris has written and directed various art and music videos which have been published in magazines such as Juxtapoz and nominated by MTV Latin America for “Video of the Year”. Gris’ work San Miguel (2018), which she wrote and directed, received the renowned Spike Lee Film Production Fund and a grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and became part of the Official Program of the 58th edition of Semaine de la Critique, Cannes 2019.
