Ivan Jović (1971) graduated at Teacher's faculty in Belgrade and completed his MA studies at Faculty for special education in Belgrade. He worked on different alternative educational projects. He made his directional debut in 2000 with I dream, and see what is happening (2000). He wrote several books and worked on different television documentary projects as a screenwriter. Among few short films, he made feature The Healing (2014) which has received few international and domestic awards. From 2012 until 2016, he worked on a large archive-documentary project, collecting statements of witnesses who survived the genocide in the Independent State of Croatia. The result of the project is not only an extensive videoarchive, but also a documentary called Legacy.
