Sebastián Diaz Morales

Sebastian Diaz Morales belongs to the new generation of Latin American visual artists. He divides his activities between his home town and Amsterdam. In his films he tends to interweave documentary elements with general reflections on the reinterpretation of reality. He has thus far shot more than 30 short films that have screened at the likes of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and at London's Tate Modern. In 2009 he became the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship.
