Ramin Bahrani

Ramin Bahrani (b. 1975, North Carolina) graduated from Columbia University, NY, with a degree in film theory. In 1998 he left the US to live in his parents' homeland, Iran, for the first time in his life. He stayed for three years and shot his first film there, Strangers (2000). He has made numerous short films and he also teaches acting and screenwriting. Man Push Cart (2005) is his second feature.
