Becky Smith is an Emmy-nominated director. Smith received her nomination for directing Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which won a Series Emmy the same year. Smith is in post-production on her second narrative feature, Berlin. Her first feature, 16 to Life is distributed by Warner Brothers Digital to over 90 million American homes and is a top drawing comedy on Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon. Smith has directed reality pilots and series for networks including MTV, BRAVO, NBC, ABC Family, Fox, Disney Channel, History Channel and PBS. Smith is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She is an alumnus of the Directing Workshop for Women at AFI. She received her MA from Stanford and is a full professor in the UCLA MFA directing program.
