Songwriter born in Mexico City. For over 20 years has made music for both national and international films, obtaining the Phoenix Prize in 2016 for Tempestad and another one in 2018 for Pájaros de verano, as well as an Ariel award in 2009, 2013, and 2014 as composer, and in 2016 as music producer. The films with his music have received many awards at the most important festivals around the world. Heiblum is the co-owner of Audioflot recording studio, along with his partner Jacobo Lieberman, where he records and mixes everything he produces. He has edited seven albums of Traditional Son Jarocho, contributing to the preservation of music and culture in Veracruz. He has produced original music for other composers and songwriters, including the Sixth Sun Concert and the Spirit of the Earth in 2012. In 2018, he produced Philip Glass' music with 2 Wixarikas musicians and The Dance of Peyote and Mummer Love with Patti Smith and Soundwalk Collective. He is producing albums with Philip Glass, Patti Smith, Foday Musa Suso, and Wolfe Glass. He was a member of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA, in Spanish) and presented the Sonic Encyclopedia as a result of that support.
