Benjamin Winspear

Before leaving Hobart to study acting at NIDA, Ben cut his teeth on A Bright and Crimson Flower, The Ship that Never Was, and The Wind in the Willows, among others.
Since then Ben has acted for many of Australia's leading theatre companies and festivals including Frankenstein for STC, Great Expectations for MTC, Baghdad Wedding for Belvoir Street, for which he won the Helpmann for Best Actor, and Faust for Bell Shakespeare.
On the small screen Ben was nominated for an AFI for his role in the ABC's My Place and has also appeared in Panic at Rock Island and Crownies.
Ben's feature film credits include Geography of the Hapless Heart and film THE BABADOOK.
