Maija Blåfield

Artist and director of experimental documentaries. Her works often combine documentary and fiction, exploring the fantastic side of our daily life and revealing its events. She received the State Award for Audiovisual Arts in 2014, and in 2017 she was nominated for the Ars Fennica award for contemporary art. Her works have been screened at international festivals, on television, in museums and in exhibitions.
