Sean Price Williams

As a cinematographer, he has worked on numerous major independent films by directors such as Josh and Benny Safdie (Good Time, 2017), Owen Kline (Funny Pages, 2022), Ronald Bronstein (Frownland, 2007), Michael Almereyda (Marjorie Prime, 2017), Alex Ross Perry (Golden Exits, 2017), Robert Greene (Kate Plays Christine, 2016), Albert Maysles (Iris, 2014) and Abel Ferrara (Zeros and Ones, 2021)). Williams moves in a variety of genres, shaping both fiction and documentary. His visions are characterized by striking uses of colour and image texture. With The Sweet East (2023), in addition to image design, he also appears as a director of his own feature film for the first time. The film was premiered at The Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival.
