She was born in Alicante and studied Media Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid, before taking courses in Film Production and Direction at TAI Film School. She began her professional career in 1993 as a member of Canal+ in-house production team where she served as a producer, screenwriter and director of many titles and worked in multiple formats. In 2007, she created her own production company, Transit Producciones, in order to develop her own projects as well as others for external companies. In 2010, she premiered her documentary feature Murals in Valladolid’s Time of History section and in 2014 she won the Goya Award for Best Documentary with Las maestras de la República.
