Marie Grahtø Sørensen attends ‘The Independent Film School Super16 at Nordisk Film’. She is a grad student at University of Copenhagen mastering in Visual Culture with special option in Arts, Aesthetics and Art philosophy. Her Super16 short film Daimi world premiered in Rotterdam and has since travelled around the world. Nationally it was a Robert nominee for Best Short Fiction in Denmark in 2012. In November 2013 she was selected as “Directors to watch” by the four largest Film Magazines in the North.
