Veronika Franz

Former film journalist, assistant director and casting director, Veronika Franz worked as a scriptwriter and artistic collaborator with Austrian director Ulrich Seidl since the beginning of his career in 1997. Severin Fiala studied directing and screenwriting at the Film Academy Vienna. In 2014, he co-directed with Veronika Franz the first feature film Goodnight Mommy, which won the following year the Youth Jury Award and the SYFY Jury Prize at Gerardmer Festival.
