Guto Parente

Director, screenwriter, editor and producer Guto Parente has co-directed 7 feature films, among them, Estrada para Ythaca (Road to Ythaca, 2010) and Os monstros (The Monsters, 2011), both competing at the BAFICI, where Os monstros received a special mention, A misteriosa morte de Pérola (The Mysterious Death of Perola, 2014) and Inferninho (My Own Private Hell, 2018), both premiered at Rotterdam Festival. He has solo directed O estranho caso de Ezequiel (The Strange Case of Ezqeuiel, 2016) and The Cannibal Club (2018), which premiered at Rotterdam Festival and was screened in numerous festivals across the world. Estranho caminho (A Strange Path) is his third solo full-length film.
