Svetla Cocorkova

Svetla Tsortsorkova (1977) is an actress, screenwriter and director from Bulgaria. She graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, then focused on film production and acting. She won a number of international awards for her first authorial short film drama Life with Sofia (Život sŭs Sofia, 2004). She continued in the same genre with another short film My Mother (Mayka mi, 2005) and made her successful feature debut with Thirst (Jajda, 2015).
