Fantastic over-the-top Hong Kong action punctuates The Black Panther Warriors, a wild and wacky action-comedy from director Clarence Fok (Naked Killer). Black Panther (producer Alan Tang) leads the Black Panther Warriors, a group of kick-ass action heroes with supreme skills in varying fields. Tony Leung Ka Fai is a marksman with insane gun skills, Simon Yam is a card-throwing gambling whiz, and Dicky Cheung is a computer genius who can become a supreme fighting machine. The four men team with three lovely ladies: Taiwanese model Jennifer Chen, sultry Carrie Ng, and the beautiful and charismatic Brigitte Lin, who wears giant red hats and owns people with her withering stares. Yuen Wah is Bloody Wolf, Black Panther's evil brother, and the leader of the bad guys: nameless black-clad cannon fodder who get torn apart in exhilarating action sequences that channel a live-action Japanimation cartoon! Cards, bullets, and bodies fly as the Black Panther Warriors cut a swath of destruction through the midst of their foes - whoever and whatever they might be. Supreme silliness and wacky hijinks are also present here, and serve as paddng between the insane action sequences. The comedy equals guffaws and giggles, but it's the imaginative action which makes The Black Panther Warriors as gonzo and bizarrely entertaining as Hong Kong Cinema can be!
