How best to describe Mondo Trasho? Like a foot-fetishist's fevered dream. Classic Waters, Classic Divine. Actually, I can not think of any more words to say about this. Interestingly enough though, except for a few monologues by Divine, it contains very little dialogue, the story being told mostly through musical cues, and as John Waters did not pay the proper licensing fees to use these songs, Mondo Trasho therefore remains out of distribution (at least officially). Some major editing cuts would definitely not hurt, as the events in the movie would nicely fit into a short, yet it is still not boring at all. This is a trashy and bizarre underground movie.
