angol A top Soviet agent in the rear of the Nazi enemy, or Captain Kloss the Russian way. It was good to watch, even though it was Leonid Brezhnev's favourite series :) ()

angol Compared to modern, dynamically shot series, Seventeen Moments of Spring might seem quite outdated today. However, it is one of the few Soviet TV shows that would still withstand stricter criteria and could be broadcast today. It's the most famous role of the renowned actor Vyacheslav Tikhonov, which permanently etched him into viewers' memories. Other famous stars also appeared in smaller roles - for instance, the role of Isayev's boss Schellenberg was played by the illustrious Oleg Tabakov. The series has a slow pace, minimal shooting, and action lovers should steer clear. On the other hand, the quality of the dialogue and the story's atmosphere are commendable. The series became a cult in the Soviet Union, and even today, there are fan websites with countless jokes about the legendary intelligence officer: "Lavrentiy, do you have children?" - "Yes, Comrade Stalin," Beria replies. - "And what about Isayev?" - "He does not." - "That's bad, we must make it happen." Overall rating, considering the nostalgia: 70%. ()
