It's almost admirable that Komodo has such a low rating here, considering the cast and the pretty well done visual effects. Komodo is actually the equivalent of the two-year older Anaconda, a horror B-movie with an overgrown and a bloodthirsty monster whose favourite pastime is eating people. In short, one of those films for which it was a shame to have such high quality visuals, as it is reliably marred by the flat plot and the lack of any deeper meaning.
