Samota

A raw drama about the residents of an isolated homestead who carry conflicts and pains from their past. Jiří Štěpnička portrays a solitary, tough man who, unfortunately, is infertile and tries to prove his masculinity to himself and his wife. Meanwhile, his wife, played by Vilma Cibulková, longs for a bit of affection. Initially, the story seems predictable when a young, handsome "drifter" arrives at the homestead, and the viewer expects a classic love triangle. However, this is just the beginning, as the film soon takes a different turn. The acting performances are excellent, whether from Vilma Cibulková, Vlasta Chramostová, or Jiří Štěpnička.
