Et Cetera

A pellucid film by the great animator, Jan Svankmajer. In three short episodes - The Wings, The Whip and The House - the plot of which is a vicious circle, the author testifies the vain effort of man to break the circle of one's fate. For example in the episode named The Whip a man is taming an animal with a whip. The more "human-like" is the animal, the more "beast-like" is the man. In the end the man becomes a beast and the beast becomes a man. The animal-man takes the whip and everything is repeated. Et cetera ... et cetera ... et cetera. (forgalmazó hivatalos szövege)
