Hotel Sunja

Sunja is a small place in Croatia. It provides accommodation for an army unit that is hiding in the local hotel. When this film was made there was a truce, which made the atmosphere rather relaxed. The soldiers are bored. They tell about their lives, about how much they miss their wives and children. Besides, the documentary shows some army exercises, because the war has not ended yet and giving up Sunja is out of the question. The troops are not very positive about the future: in any case it will be impossible for them to live together with the Serbs any longer. The film ends with a short review of the men's experiences.
