Stan is an experimental documentary that explores the remembrances of a man who began using heroin as a teenager in the 1940s and struggled with addiction much of his adult life. The film uses contemporary footage and archival audio as it recalls a time in the United States when drug treatment was virtually unavailable. (Big Sky Documentary Film Festival)
