Who You Know

Cole, an aspiring screenwriter and recent film school grad, has decided to write his most ambitious script to date. By plotting out a whimsical rom-com relationship with Haley, the daughter of his screenwriting idol, he hopes to meet her legendary father and get a leg up in showbiz. But as Cole increasingly neglects his complex bond with his best friend Austin, rejecting his offer to be his writing partner in LA to focus on his movie-perfect relationship with Haley, he realizes he has written himself into a corner both morally and romantically. Filled with insights into ambition, desire, and regret, Who You Know takes a comedic and oftentimes heartbreaking look at what it takes to succeed in art, life, and love in the modern world.
