A széria szülőatyja Dahvi Waller, aki korábban Született feleségek részeket is írt, a főszerepben Cate Blanchett látható. (HBO Europe)

Mrs. America (2020)

angol I don't think that this is really exclusively American stuff for an American audience. After all, the post-war development in the Czech Republic and in the West has many common problems, especially in family law. While in the Czech Republic, at the cost of the Eastern Bloc, the roles of men and women were more or less unified and it was necessary to reconcile the law with customary tradition, the surprisingly progressive West struggled with the neglect of women after the war. Deep problems of views on the shape of the family and the role of women in society have always determined many other things. Nazi Germany lacked women in manufacturing, while the Democratic US allowed women to flourish during the war, but after the war forced them back to the stove more than they would ever have been willing to. Out of this balance of frustration came the retaliation of the 1960s. Betty Friedan's "The Feminine Mystique" should be read by anyone who wants to understand the paradoxes of the modern world. It's not even that much of a problem anymore, we've had a translation of it since 2002. Similarly, in today's globalized world, it should be no problem to understand the significance of the cover of a woman’s magazine with Wonder Woman. For those who are still hesitating, they can enjoy the wonderful performances of Cate Blanchett or Sarah Paulson. ()
