Le Viol du vampire

The french cult director Jean Rollin, who has made a career out of making erotically charged horror films that focus on vampires and virgins, began his career with this 1968 film, THE RAPE OF THE VAMPIRE. Expanded from a short film, it covers all of the subject matter and imagery that Rollin became known for--blood, naked women in sexual yet horrific circumstances, existentialism, and fetishism of vampires and their base, lustful desires.
