Rush of Fear

In an attempt to save their troubled relationship, Jack and Alex McGuire (Joseph Kell and Rosanna Arquette) plan a romantic getaway to a quiet seaside town. But when Jack disappears while exchanging their rental car, the dream of a better future together turns into a nightmare. The local police are more interested in implicating Jack for a murder than helping to find him, so Alex hooks up with one of Jack's clients, Sam Bryant (Chris Potter), to search on her own. They soon discover he's been kidnapped because of a 50 carat diamond that was hidden in the rental car he had been asked to return.
