Fifth grader Ludvík Čtrnáctý's passion for physics is reflected in his frequent experiments – usually ending disastrously. In one case, Ludvik checks an electric charge by rubbing his neighbor's rabbit on the handle of an old umbrella. He also drops an egg and a melon from a roof to confirm the influence of weight on freefall, and while verifying the Archimedes law he soaks his Dad's music scores and is punished by practing the violin, which is punishment for anyone who can hear him.
