The film is set at the bar on the corner of a run-down neighborhood. The story is about Evert, a young fellow who returns to this place for one weekend, August 4 and 5, 1962. The year before he has moved to another town with his mother. This weekend he wants to show his friends that he is doing well, in particular to Greet, the woman that owns and runs the bar. Behind his facade lies a sense of loneliness and the need to belong to the neighborhood. (Moscow International Film Festival)
