It also reminds me of Doctor Quinn, but there's really only one commonality between them: they're both family-historicizing series. Doctor Quinn was set in the rather optimistic decade of 1867 to 1877 and Road to Avonlea in the Belle Époque of 1907 to 1914. Let us, therefore, finally learn to distinguish the decades of the recent past, at least against the background of TV series!
