Egy baráti társaság öt év kihagyás után újra összejön a legendás „spanviadalra”, hogy az abszurd fizikai és szellemi kihívások sorozatában versengjenek egymással. A főszereplő, Bob (Josh Duhamel) szervezi össze újra a hat barátból álló csapatot, miután mindannyiukat elsodorta egymástól az élet öt teljes évre. Ezúttal ennek a vad, őrült, ám mégis pokolian mulatságos versenynek a tétje nem kevesebb, mint 150.000 dollár, így a régi spanok nemcsak buliznak és felelevenítik a régi sztorikat, de komoly küzdelmet is folytatnak a pénzért. Közben persze sokkal komolyabb dolgok is történnek: régi sebeket gyógyítanak be, múltbéli hibákat javítanak ki, így végül ráébrednek a barátság valódi értelmére. (HBO Europe)

Feels like we used to get way more of these wild, over-the-top American comedies about 10-15 years ago. Maybe it’s the whole hyper-correct era we’re in, or maybe it’s just the actors these days. Hard to say. Either way, Josh Duhamel totally nailed it. It’s a bit of a mess, a bit outrageous... but exactly the kind of comedy every guy can fully appreciate.

A typical American twisted and depraved comedy with scatological humor that is obviously stupid to the point of being painful. Fortunately, it has a few bright moments and it can make you laugh. I felt that this film is an ensemble of actors who have previously played supporting and uninteresting roles. The funniest is Nick Swardson and the third star goes to the beautiful Olivia Munn. It's nonsense. Story**, Action>No, Humor***, Violence*, Entertainment***, Music***, Visual***, Atmosphere**, Tension*. 5/10.

Judging by the reviews here, I was expecting some stupid Adam Sandler style of humour, but unfortunately I didn't laugh once in an hour, and so for me this is ultimately a pointless film about a couple of guys who reunite after years and fight each other for the post of winner in various challenges. The familiar faces from other comedies and a passable idea are fine, but the lack of humour, and therefore anything that interests me, is unforgivable, and so I switched it off before the end. The film had plenty of chances to entertain, but didn't turn any of them into success. And I'm a person who loves similarly silly films... Waste of time.
