Giuliano és Tommaso harminc éve barátok. Tommaso tanár és Kanadában él, míg a színész Giuliano Rómában maradt. Bár eltérő személyiségek, közel állnak egymáshoz: Giuliano extrovertált, Tommaso viszont szégyenlős, visszahúzódó alkat. Egy nap Giulianónál végzetes betegséget diagnosztizálnak. Egy éves harc után elhatározza, feladja a kezelését. Tommaso visszatér Rómába, hogy segítsen a barátjának. "What is the point of killing in the name of God? He'll make do on his own." +++ Tomorrow's a New Day deals with the themes of friendship and death in an unusually fresh way. It addresses fundamental questions with a pleasant perspective, both seriously and unseriously, but certainly not comedically. I thus don't understand the classification in the comedy genre at all. From the very beginning, I watched with some tension, wondering how the story would unfold, and I was pleased that I couldn't predict much in advance. The plot flowed as naturally as life itself. Toward the end, I even cried a little, although there was no cheap wringing of emotions at all. (85%)
