Just as excellent as the eponymous film. Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi chose actors who were simply perfect for those vampires. In addition, I was happy about the appearance of Matt Berry, who enjoyed his role just as much as the one in the legendary IT Crowd. Watching a documentary from the world of contemporary vampires and seeing how their old habits clash with our society is simply a must. Impossibly funny and a total chillout. I haven’t seen such an entertaining series in a long while… hurray for What We Do in the Shadows!

Five stars without hesitation, this series is great just like its older movie namesake, which it even surpasses in some ways. Because of what? The energetic vampire Colin, that's for sure!
