Fifteen-year-old Pouria is a close friend of one of the neighbours, Danial. When something tragic happens to Danial, frightened Pouria feels guilty. So he decides not to reveal their secret to the others. --"In the beginning of 2014, as there was no producer willing to make a children's film, I decided to produce and direct THE PROMISE by myself. With a tight budget, a small crew and cast, we finished the shoot in just 26 days. The result is a small, simple, poetic film just like my previous films.
