A 18 éves Louise két évre Mumbaiba költözik a szüleivel, akik ott kaptak munkát. Mielőtt új otthonukba költöznének, a Taj Mahal Palace hotel egyik lakosztályában töltenek pár napot. (HBO Europe)

It’s as if nothing was happening at all in that hotel. The premise may be interesting, but the execution is as cheap, poor and uninteresting as the toilet paper that used to be available during the communist regime – it ripped rectums off and tore piles open. ()
I can't help myself, but the whole movie feels to me like it was made to show one big drama, even though in reality it is presented as how a young girl can cope with a crisis situation. She can't. I'm not saying that I would behave differently, I don't know, but in this portrayal, it's just boring, and although the main actress is pretty, she didn't entertain me. ()
For me, tension until the last moment. Maybe the main character is just a bit too calm for my taste – I think I would probably have a panic attack and cry, and probably an asthma attack, too :) One could wish for a little more action, some shots of the hotel during the attack, but without that the film is much more realistic. We see everything through the eyes of the female protagonist, as it would be in reality – without the omnipresent and omniscient camera. This is how we find ourselves locked in a room and all we hear are explosions, gunfire, screaming, crying, hopelessness; not knowing exactly what is happening, where they are, if and when they will come. The authentic footage at the end only enhances the experience and makes you wish that for once a film was just fiction. ()
