When businessman Igor Vetrov leaves for a long business trip, he sends an engagement ring to his fiancée Lidia intending to announce their wedding on his return. Unfortunately, the ring is delivered to her neighbour, a spoiled diva who decides to keep it. Lidia gives up all hope and believing that Igor has left her permanently, accepts a marriage proposal from his friend Aleksandr who is unaware of her previous relationship with Igor. When Igor learns of his fiancée's engagement, he is consumed with jealousy and introduces his fictitious fiancée Maria to his friends. Although Maria realises what Igor is up to, she can also see that marrying him would be very advantageous and so she goes along with his plan. How will this love quadrangle play out and will Igor, Lidia, Aleksandr and Maria meet their match? (Star Media)
