This updated version of VOLPONE stars comic charmer Rex Harrison as Cecil Fox, a sly, wealthy man who pretends to be dying in order to test the love of his former mistresses. But a household full of greed and jealousy leads to trouble, as Cecil Fox soon finds out when he gets in over his head and one of his heiresses decides to speed his death along a bit.
