The first (and probably my last) season of the series was more of a disappointment than you’d expect from my final rating. From the beginning, I wasn’t impressed but I was hoping it would improve later. I was wrong. In the end, much to my chagrin, things got even worse, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the creators had been poking fun at the viewers the whole time. 3*- (2021.02.15)

I'm a bit unsure if having a big chunk of the AHS cast (especially Sarah Paulson) was a smart move, and the premise strongly echoes the second season of that series, so it's all feeling a bit familiar right now. Well, let's see where it all goes from here. I reckon a savvy lawyer could easily defend the murderer. Just argue it was self-defense, claiming they were coming after him with a strange gleam in their eyes and suggestive grins :-) (2021.02.13)

The second episode left a stronger impression on me compared to the first, but it didn't quite hit four stars for me because it delved into the topic of homosexuality again. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with lesbians, but it feels like it's becoming a predictable checkbox in every series these days. When I settle in to watch a thriller about a serial killer, it's not certain at all if it will really be a thriller; it's not even certain if someone will be murdered in the movie, but I am absolutely sure there will be a homosexual relationship involved. I seem to havea personal problem with this series. I genuinely want to enjoy it, but there's always something that keeps me from fully diving in. The petting through the bars was still okay; what was much worse was the oddity with Sarah Paulson. Nevertheless, it's clear that Ryan Murphy is sticking to his tried-and-true methods, so fans of dissecting the mysteries of human anatomy will likely get a kick out of it :-) 3*+ (2021.02.13)

There's something about this series that just doesn't quite click with me. Maybe it's the echoes of AHS (which, let's face it, are hard to ignore), or perhaps it's because I'm not exactly crazy about Sarah Paulson. Either way, I was leaning towards a solid three-star rating for this episode. However, I'm adding an extra star for the great cooking with Corey Stoll. (2021.02.14)

There was an absence of cooking action this time around, which was a letdown after the culinary treat of the previous episode. Even the party itself didn't quite hit the mark for me, so this time, my rating is a lukewarm 3 stars. (2021.02.14)

Alright, I'm starting to see where this series is heading, and it looks like it's going to land with an average rating for me. I doubt the last two episodes will pull out any surprises in terms of quality (fingers crossed they at least keep up the current standard). (2021.02.14)

Im a bit unsure about how the story's unfolding. I had this whole different expectation in mind. Nurse Ratched, I mean, I never imagined she'd turn out to be essentially a good soul (with occasional slip-ups); I had her name associated with a whole different personality. And the doctor's mother-in-law magically making it from the Philippines to the USA in 1943? That raised an eyebrow. Did Admiral Lockwood send a submarine for her? 3*- (2021.02.15)

The story seemed to go off the rails in the previous episode, and now it was just coasting along with inertia, tossing dirt and stones beside the tracks. The finale? Well, it was just plain silly. If it was supposed to get me hyped for the next season, it didn't quite hit the mark. (2021.02.15)
