Rédl

A four-part miniseries written by Miro Šifra and directed by Jan Hřebejk goes back to post-1989 times when no one truly trusts anyone. Only few days before the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, a promising military prosecutor Rédl (Ondřej Sokol) closes a big case with the last State Security commander. When a student from the neighbourhood goes missing, Rédl sets out to find him. Evidence leads him to organized crime linked to the withdrawal of Soviet troops. First bodies start to appear.
