Into the Light: Film Resistance

A documentation of mushrooms through imprints of their spores on the physical film. The filmmaker spent more than ten years collecting and creating images in which she made contact prints of cross sections of mushrooms onto the surface of the 35mm film material. She then optically printed the images in black and white before colouring the result by hand. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
