Alteration 109

The film Alteration 109 represents the movement of Austrian experimental video art, which in many ways follows up on structural film. Simple geometrical shapes and minimalist sound gradually multiply on many levels – emphasis on phases of movement of objects, their randomness, the presence of computer-like space. In the last part of the film, the element of analogue music appears unexpectedly – drums in the sound are reflected by the onset of color tones in the image. (Marienbad Film Festival)
