Daptone Records is based out of a two-story building nicknamed "The House of Soul" in Bushwick, Brooklyn. For 15 years the musician-owned label has been putting out funk and hard-hitting soul one record at a time. The talented Daptone Records roster includes the incomparable Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley, The Budos Band and Antibalas. In December 2014, the entire Daptone Family headlined Harlem's famous Apollo Theater for a three-night, sold-out musical revue. (Los Angeles Film Festival)
