Egy titokzatos, fiatal özvegyasszony, Hester Appleyard sötét múltat maga mögött hagyva új életet kezd Ausztráliában, és az általa alapított és igazgatott leányiskola hamar jóhírű intézménnyé növi ki magát. Az 1900-as esztendő Szt. Valentin napján az igazgatónő engedélyt ad tanítványainak, hogy nevelőik kíséretében kirándulást tegyenek a vadonban fekvő különös geológia képződményhez, amelyet Függő-sziklának neveznek. Az őslakosok által szellemjárta helyként rettegett hegyen a délután folyamán a lányok közül hárman egy tanárnővel együtt nyomtalanul eltűnnek. (MTVA)

angol I have no idea what I was actually expecting from this series, maybe some sort of entertainment. But it offered none. The creators were drowning in their attempts to create a captivating atmosphere and suspense out of nothing, failing miserably. The script had nothing to offer, because at least four out of six episodes were just boring filler, the flashbacks were practically unnecessary because none of the story was built on them, and instead of looking forward to the final unraveling, I was looking forward to the closing credits. I’m sure a lot of people consider Samara Weaving gorgeous, but her toothy smile with the corners of her mouth pulled all the way down to her chin makes me fear for my life. ()

Episode 1 (2018) (E01) 

angol I have mixed feelings. While I appreciated the cinematography, there was an undeniable sense that the creators were striving to inject drama and tension at every turn, almost too forcefully. The episode seemed heavily reliant on Natalie Dormer's performance. ()

Episode 2 (2018) (E02) 

angol While the previous episode had its flaws, it still held my attention. Unfortunately, this one failed to do the same. If I were to highlight anything, it would be the cinematography, particularly the stunning nature shots. However, the storyline felt woefully lacking, leaving me feeling rather bored. ()

Episode 3 (2018) (E03) 

angol Initially, I had a glimmer of hope as the episode kicked off with some promising intrigue. Yet, disappointingly, it quickly reverted to the same old boredom. It feels like this stagnant pace will persist until the end, with no dramatic twist in sight to warrant a higher rating. ()

Episode 4 (2018) (E04) 

angol Finally, I felt like the series was picking up some momentum, only to be blindsided when I realized by the end that the main story hadn't really advanced at all. It was a masterful deception by the creators, and I couldn't help but appreciate their clever trick with an extra star. ()

Episode 5 (2018) (E05) 

angol Ugh, those dreamy, hallucinatory scenes really aren't my cup of tea, and the fact that this episode doubled down on them... Well, let's just say I'm starting to wonder if there's even a point to this script. Once again, I found myself conspicuously bored. ()

Episode 6 (2018) (E06) 

angol The creators stuck to their guns, delivering another enigmatic installment that left me scratching my head. While I didn't glean much from it in terms of answers, I gotta give props to the camerawork. ()
