Vermelho Russo

Russian Red is the first feature Brazil-Russia coproduction. Inspired by the diary of the actress Martha Nowill (published in the prestigious literary magazine Piauí), it tells the story of two young Brazilian actresses in Moscow. The movie is a touching tale of a deep friendship as well as a fun portrayal of life in theatre and the struggle of two artists trying to overcome their difficulties.
