Rey Gitano

Before dying, an old gypsy flamenco dancer reveals an extraordinary secret to his son Gaje: he is the true heir to the Spanish throne. Not far from there, in his shop "La boutique del espía", the grumpy and dyslexic text-book Republican José Mari, and Primitivo, a sapless hard guy, nostalgic for the old regime, moan about their personal misfortune and uncertain future. Pretending to be a State intelligence agent, Gaje the trickster turns up unannounced to give the two aspiring private eyes their first mission: to secretly follow the self-same Royal Family and obtain a DNA sample to find out if they are being poisoned. The two old friends see this as the last opportunity to do something worthwhile in their miserable lives. But the King of Spain has just abdicated and his son will be crowned in only a few days...
