Ali (Madeline Brewer) is the daughter of a comedy legend, so performing stand up should be in her blood, right? Well, maybe. Ali dreams of being a comedienne, but she's terrified of performing on stage. As she struggles to reconcile her fears and aspirations, Ali forges new relationships that help her deal with the death of her father, her overwhelming loneliness, and her inability to be vulnerable. With a healthy dose of sarcasm, a couple of panic attacks, and an endless supply of alcohol, Hedgehog shows Ali at her best and worst moments as she pushes herself to be the performer she's always dreamt of being.
